A few weekends ago, I was fortunate enough to be a guest at a friends wedding in Cheam, London. Nick and Joanna had a wonderful Catholic wedding at Sacred Heart Chuch in Wimbledon, then a reception at The Old Rectory in Cheam.
What we didn’t realise was that it was to be a very British Garden Tea Party, thankfully the sun was out in its fill glory. This makes a nice change for British weather, especially this year which has been filled with rain, rain and more rain.
With a Soul band in the corner and some canapes and Pims, the party went really well, the speeches were amazing, and the groom even managed to feel a little relaxed with the help of some chickens walking past at the right time. It was so funny it felt like it was planned.
